Spring  Continue with departmental coursework  Apply and be selected for training program  Conduct dissertation research under the direction of PI. YEAR 1 of Training Program Support Summer  Complete training program on-boarding  Start to organize chemical biology symposium  Conduct dissertation research under the direction of PI. Fall  Organize, host, and participate in chemical biology symposium  Complete “Principles and Practice of Chemical Biology” course  Complete “Responsible Conduct of Research” course (if not taken in Year 0)  Complete “Literature in Chemical Biology” course module  Conduct dissertation research under the direction of PI. Spring  Complete “Careers” course  Conduct dissertation research under the direction of PI.
